Town of Fishers Grass Ordinance
Association Management Inc. will be reporting properties in violation of the Town of Fishers Ordinance 120511A, passed 1-3-12, which states “It shall be the duty of any owner of real estate within the geographical limits of the town to cut and remove all weeds and rank vegetation growing upon such real estate when such weeds and rank vegetation exceed a height of eight inches, as measured from the ground, including but not limited to that portion of such real estate as is adjacent to or abutting upon any sidewalk, alley, or street.” Those in violation of the ordinance will receive an invoice reflecting the total cost incurred by the town in mowing the property, administrative costs associated with abating the violation, and a penalty amount of $250 for violating the ordinance. Properties with overgrown grass and weeds can be reported to the Town of Fishers by using a form located here.
